Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder: Savage Solutions
Item Description
Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder-
Michael Savage has the cure.
With grit, guts, and gusto, talk radio sensation Michael Savage leaves no political turn unstoned as he savages today's most rabid liberalism. In this paperback edition of his third New York Times bestseller, Savage strikes at the root of today's most pressing issues, including:
Homeland security: "We need more Patton and less patent leather . . . Real homeland security begins when we arrest, interrogate, jail, or deport known operatives within our own borders . . . One dirty bomb can ruin your whole day."
Illegal immigration: "I envision an Oil for Illegals program . . . The president should demand one barrel of oil from Mexico for every illegal that sneaks into our country."
Lawsuit abuse: "Lawyers are like red wine. Everything in moderation. Today we have far too many lawyers, and we're suffering from cirrhosis of the economy."
"Pure Savage. Very effective, very timely, very hot."

I agree but. . .

Liberalism is unquestionably a diseased mind. When someone's motive for maintaining a viewpoint is public coercion, they cease to be a free individual and are operating under cultic conditioning. It is out of fear of offending the status quo that they lash out at opposition to the status quo. They know that the liberal magisterium is unforgiving and vindictive. However, when someone manipulates good rhetoric to support his Zionist cause by defining anti-liberalism as pro-Israel, that too is cultic conditioning.
Some unnecessary roughnesss but a winner

Fans of his radio show will enjoy much of the book if only for hearing Savage's resonant, Rabinical tones, on subjects he's already covered, on-air. Initiates will be stunnewd at his eloquence, in this age of the College-dropout pundit. (By the way, we are talking about Doctor Michael Savage).
I find some of his connect-the-dot revelations to be on the level of Fox's Glenn Beck - that Communism is just one "dot" away from Socialsim, which too many in Washington promote, intentionally or unintentionally. He is at his greatest in detailing Middle East events, especially relating to the bizarre glorification of the murderous and greedy thug, Yassar Arafat.
Book effectively highlights his most quotable points, in strategically placed boxes, on the pages.
Impressive footnote section.
Good Book

This was a gift for someone else. Michael Savage is great to listen too and he has written some great books.
Open Minded?

Isn't funny how the most closed minded and partisan conservatives absolutely insist all liberals exhibit the open mindedness and neutrality they shun? Micheal Savage is a partisan hack and an entertainer just like Limbaugh and Hannity, but on a level so vile and bigoted that he only attracts the most extreme misogynists and clueless psychophants in the conservativ-o-sphere. Do yourself a favor, Savage fans. Forget about trying to bring thinking, rational conservatives, liberals, and moderates over to your side. Just take your medicine and slobber all over the pages of this book in what surely is a right winger carnal fit of joy. Have fun, and leave the rest of us alone.
Very similar to radio broadcasts

This book is a little bizarre. It is very interesting but you'll have to read it with a salt shaker handy (ie: needs to be taken with more than just ONE grain of salt..). But, just like his radio broadcasts, if you can filter through some of the stranger assertions you'll find some very interesting insights. And as one of the other reviewers stated, the research and cites are first rate. If you listen to his radio show regularly, you'll love the book. If you listen occasionally, there will still be some assertions that you'll find insightful or even enlightening. If you've never listened to Savage radio, you're in for an eye opener!
