There are many places to arm yourself with good information. Why is this important? It's important so you're not SCREWED over by our government. it's important so you don't have to give up 60-70% of your paycheck to pay for someone that wants to sit on their ass all day being a leech being supported by a government bureaucracy that takes even more to redistribute your hard earned money.
